Clariant’s pigments and additives division was recently honored for its program and project management at the Best Innovator competition 2003. The Best Innovator competition, jointly held by the management consulting firm, A.T. Kearney and WirtschaftsWoche, a German business magazine, assesses Germany’s largest firms, as well as small and medium businesses with outstanding innovation management.
Clariant’s pigments and additives division has implemented a series of measures to foster innovations including effective and efficient project controlling, a centralized database and clear targets for employees, as well as remuneration based on performance. As a result of these measures, new product sales have reached 20%, the company reported.
